Microsoft has announced a new hardware bundle which features a 250GB Xbox 360, controller, and digital copies of of Darksiders 2 and Batman: Arkham City, plus a month of XBL Gold. The Spring Value Bundle will be available in select US stores for $299 starting today. Via Major Nelson.

Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition is an enhanced version of the original game created by Rocksteady Studios made especially for Wii U by WB Games Montreal. In the video below, some of the gameplay mechanics and features in the game have been shown off using the Wii U’s controller. Have a watch. Box artwork for Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition, which is playable this week at gamescom, has been released by Warner. The Wii U version of the 2011 title will release this holiday and contains the same story and gameplay as the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 versions. It also contains all available downloadable content, the Battle Armored Tech Mode and the new Armored Suits for both Batman and Catwoman.

Batman: Arkham City writer Paul Dini has confirmed he isn’t currently involved in a new game at Rocksteady, but that’s not because there isn’t one in the works.

Warner has released a trailer for Harley Quinn’s Revenge, the upcoming DLC for Batman: Arkham City which will also be included in the Game of the Year Edition. It’s below, and shows more of Robin as well.

Warner has released some screenshots of Harley Quinn’s Revenge. The DLC contains over two hours of new single-player content and players can choose between playing as both Batman and Robin. The DLC will be released for Batman: Arkham City on PS3 in the US on May 29, and on Xbox 360 and European PSN territories on May 30. A teaser video for the content was released yesterday.
