Big Skyrim mod Falskaar comes to Xbox One, skips PS4

Falskaar is yet another PC mod that won't see a release on PS4.

With the release of Skyrim Special Edition, many of the authors of the original game's various mods, have taken to porting their work to the remaster, and to consoles, too, now that they support mods.

Unfortunately, many of these massive mods require a lot of external textures and sounds, which means PlayStation 4 players won't be able to use them. The latest mod to make the jump is Falskaar, a highly-rated PC mod that adds a chunk of new content.

Created by Alexander J. Velicky, the mod adds a new landmass, complete with different locations, NPCs, and dungeons. New shouts and characters are also added, alongside 26 new quests. The creator says Falskaar can provide over 20 hours of content.

As you can see in the trailer above, the mod includes fully voice-acted encounters, and a number of new dungeons. Version 1.2.1 is what's available on Xbox One, and the download is relatively small at 580.8MB. It won't be released on PS4.
