Beyond Good & Evil will be free on PC as of next week for those with a uPlay account

If you don't already own this, now's your chance.

Beyond Good & Evil is one of my most favourite games of all time and as we continue to hope that the sequel is real and will make it to a release outside of our personal fantasies, there's good news for those who haven't had the chance to play the original, or just want a trip down memory lane.

The Ubisost Club Twitter account announced that PC players will be able to download the title for free starting October 12 as part of the Ubi30 promotion.

The promotion is celebrating Ubisoft's 30th anniversary and the Ubisoft Club is offering a total of seven free digital PC games. One game will be revealed every month and will be available to download for a limited time, so get a move on.

Here's the list of titles released so far.

  • Prince of Perisa: The Sands of Time (June)
  • Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell (July)
  • Rayman Origins (August)
  • The Crew (September)
  • Beyond Good & Evil (October)

I can't recommend this game enough and now that you can nab it for free, you should most definitely give it a whirl.
