Konami has revealed a new partnership with FC Barcelona for PES 2017. Thanks to this deal, Konami will be allowed "extensive" access to the Camp Nou stadium, which will be exclusive to the game for three years.

In addition, Konami will also have much better in-game representation of many of the club's stars, and the match day experience. Konami adverts and banners will be seen in the real stadium, too.

The game's myClub mode will include Barcelona Legends. This recreation also carries over to theplayers themselves, both in appearances, skill and player-styles.

"This is a real statement of intent for us," said Konami Digital Entertainment president Tomotada Tashiro. "By working closely with a team of Barcelona’s stature we can introduce the PES series to a huge global fan base."

"This partnership will deliver access to the very best players in the modern game and to one of the world’s most respected and ambitious clubs. The PES series is famed for its realism and control, so the fit between such a skilled team and a game that celebrates such ability is perfect."
