Secure your Overwatch KDR with Blizzard's One-Button Authenticator app

Blizzard has introduced a new way to keep a tight hold on your Battle.net ID, protecting you from those who target players of games like Overwatch, World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, Diablo 3 and StarCraft 2.

It simplifies the whole process of two-factor authentication. Rather than copying a code across from email or an app whenever you log-in somewhere suspicious or after a set expiry time (one week is the default), you just log-in on your PC, and wait for the app to highlight the attempt. Press one button - it's right there in the name - and you'll be good to go.

The security of this system relies on you not losing your device and keeping the device itself secured in the event that you do lose it, obviously, but it's still pretty cool.

The new One-Button Authenticator app is available now for Android and iOS devices such as smartphones, tablets and smartwatches. It's an update to the existing Mobile Authenticator app, so you should be able to start using is straight away if you already have it installed.
