Need for Speed on PC will support 4K resolution, and unlocked framrate, and various wheel peripherals from Fanatec, Logitech and Thrustmaster.

The Manual Transmission update which was teased overnight will be included in the PC version.

The update will be added to the console version, but a release date was not provided.

Origin Access members will be able to play the racer on PC free for a limited time starting March 10, with progress saved over into the full game as with all Access trials.

Those who pre-order the Deluxe Edition through Origin on PC will also receive the BMW M3 E46 as a tricked out starter car, and more.

At release, the PC version will also contain all improvements and tweaks made since released on consoles, including both the Icons and Legends updates from day one. The Showcase update is currently scheduled to arrive on PC shortly after launch.

Need for Speed will release on PC March 17.
