Did you delete P.T.? You might be able to get it back

Silent Hill fans regretting deletion of the increasingly rare P.T. can retrieve their lost piece of gaming history.

Earlier this year, Kojima Productions' Silent Hills was cancelled and its playable teaser, P.T., was wiped from the PlayStation Network, meaning those who didn't grab it lost the chance forever.

Worse, there's been no way to reinstall the demo if you deleted it from your PS4's storage - until now.

Gamexeon members report the demo files can be retrieved using Squid, a PC app.

The risks may not be worth the effort, though; some users have reported receiving bans or bricking their consoles leveraging this method. If you're brave enough, hit the link above for instructions and check out the video below.

Given the risks, it might be better just to pony up for a pre-installed copy if you're that keen.

By the way: if you back your PS4 up to an external hard drive, install a new drive in the console, and then restore the back up, P.T. won't be lost; it'll be fully playable after the restoration. I did this myself recently and it was totally painless.
