Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain save bug isolated, more ways to avoid it suggested

Konami has figured out what's causing the save breaking bug in Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain when recruiting Quiet, and until the patch is released, the developer has offered up two other suggestions on how to avoid the glitch.

The bug occurs bringing Quiet along in Mission 29 or 42. Using the Butterfly Emblem for the mission's duration will keep the save file from being corrupted. Players can also avoid it by not maxing out their Bond Level with Quiet during either Mission.

Konami said it's working on a patch to fix the bug and repair any save data affected by the issue. Further updates will be announced soon.
