The Witcher 3's first expansion nears completion, and there's 'good news' for Gwent fans coming

Good news for fans of The Witcher 3: it sounds like the wait for the first major expansion, Heart of Stone, won't be too long.

Dual Shockers are reporting that Travis Currit, of CD Projekt RED, is "almost ready, and shaping up really nicely". It's due to release in October, and is said to take ten hours to finish.

But the tastier morsel here for any Gwent fans is the hint that there is "good news" coming for them. It doesn't sound like standalone Gwent is coming anytime soon, necessarily, but perhaps the new expansion will come with new cards, or rules, or just more opponents. Hopefully we'll have new ways to scratch that Gwent itch soon.

Thanks, Dual Shockers.
