Indie 2D crafting sandbox Terraria arrives on 3DS and Wii U in early 2016 thanks to a partnership between developer Re-Logic and publisher 505 Games.

Both new console versions feature touch screen controls and multiplayer. The 3DS port supports up to four Terrarians via local WiFi, while the Wii U equivalent has full online support for up to eight players, or four player splitscreen with classic Wii Remotes.

The new builds will be on show at the Nintendo booth at gamescom.

If you somehow missed Terraria, it's enormous - 1,300 crafting recipes, 150 enemy types and 15 bosses. It's available on PC, PlayStation 3, PS4, Vita, Xbox 360, Xbox One and mobile devices.
