Warner Bros. has just announced that the first story DLC for Batman: Arkham Knight, Batgirl: A Matter of Family, will release July 14 for season pass holders and July 21 for everyone else.

The DLC brings a playable Batgirl to a new location and includes multiple missions and side quests. Expect to find puzzles and secrets, some of which can be solved using Batgirl's new hacking skill. Robin will also join in for dynamic take-downs, similar to what's available in the main game.

A Matter of Family is a prequel to the events of Arkham Knight and tells the story Barbara Gordon's alter ego before she was paralysed. If you don't own the season pass, the DLC will run you £5.79.

The upcoming add-on is developed by Warner Bros. Montreal, developers of Arkham Origins. The rest of the season pass content is currently in development at Rocksteady.
