Star Wars: Battlefront AT-AT units "unique", have "their own laws"

The AT-AT sequences in Star Wars: Battlefront are fairly scripted, because anything else would be "game breaking".

Star Wars: Battlefront players can use and combat AT-AT units, but only in certain modes and moments - it's not just something you can take into the general battlefield,.

Seaking to Eurogamer, senior producer Sigurlina Ingvarsdottir said anything else would unbalance the game.

"The AT-AT is obviously an extremely unique vehicle. They're so big, their movement is slow, their attributes are so different they have almost their own laws," Ingvarsdottir said.

"If you were to control their path - that would be game breaking."

Star Wars: Battlefront launches on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on November 20, but EA has no qualms about delaying it if it doesn't live up to expectations.
