Developed by Climax Studios in collaboration with Ubisoft Montreal, Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China, the side-scrolling action platformer part of the Assassin's Creed: Unity Season Pass, will be the first standalone release. Two more will follow.

China is the first episode, and it arrives on April 21 in North America and April 22 in Europe.

Episode two takes place in India circa 1841 as the Sikh Empire prepares for war in India and stars Arbaaz Mir from the graphic novel Assassin's Creed: Brahman.

The final episode takes place in post-revolution Russia circa 1918, during the aftermath of the Red October revolution. It stars Assassin's Creed: The Fall and The Chain's Nikolaï Orelov.

Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India and Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia are slated for a fall release.

All episodes can be played and separately or together, and purchased à la carte or through a Season Pass on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Over the weekend it was rumored the Chronicles series would arrive on Vita as well, but the platform wasn't mentioned in the press release.
