H1Z1: cheaters who fly over the map and rain down arrows are getting banned

Cheating has been rampant in H1Z1 it seems. The developers are aware and have started issuing bans.

The most notable case of cheating is players using a bow and arrow - one of the early weapons you can craft in H1Z1 - and flying over the map to one-shot other players.

While that may sound funny, it is undoubtedly frustrating for those who have to deal with losing all their progression and starting over as a result of it. And it seems a lot of people are affected, judging from the game's sub-Reddit.

Senior game designer Jimmy Whisenhunt took to Twitter to announce that a few permabans have been issued and that more are coming.

If you follow the link in the first tweet, you will see how some cheaters just don't give up, with one of them buying four copies because he kept getting banned.

Thanks, PCGamesN.
