Still no "concrete info" on Driveclub PS Plus Edition

Driveclub developer Evolution still doesn't have any information on when the free PS Plus Edition of its racer will be released.

The PS Plus Edition of Driveclub was meant to be released two weeks ago alongside the full retail version of the game, but has been held up due to server issues.

Those server issues have affected the entire game. Originally players we unable to connect online - a major selling point for the game - although problems are easing.

"PS Plus Edition news will come as soon as we have concrete info - sorry to keep you all waiting," said the developer in the latest update on its official Facebook page.

Although the "majority" of players can now connect online, during busy times online play is once again disrupted.

"We can see that the majority of you can now get online, but we know that at peak times of the day it can still be hard to get connected, so we are still working to improve connectivity with every update to the servers," said the team.

"We can also see that when you do get connected, some of you are having a hard time getting into multiplayer races and that posting leaderboard results can sometimes take a lot longer than you'd expect."

Evolution had originally planned to release new content for the game every month until June 2015, including missing features such as a dynamic weather and a photo mode.
