Here’s your first look at Halo: Nightfall in action

Halo: Nightfall was unveiled at Comic Con today. Below is your first look.

In the original series for Showtime and Xbox One, Jameson Locke is a “legendary manhunter” and agent with the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI).

Apparently, he and his team are caught in the midst of a biological attack, where they soon discover a plot which takes them to an ancient artifact. There, they are forced to “fight for their survival, question everything,” and ultimately choose between whether loyalty or their lives are more important.

Taking place between the events of Halo 4 and Halo 5: Guardians, Nightfall is set for release around the same time as the Master Chief Collection.

The key art for the series was posted earlier and screengrabs from the show are posted below.

Wish they showed off a little more. Looks promising

As much as I hate 343′s new and reinvented interpretation of the Halo Universe. All the live action Halo clips since 343′s role with Halo have been absolutely amazing so far.

    Looking forward to it.

That looks cheap and cheesy. Lots of close-up shots to hide a lack of scenery, and that dialogue at the end is pretty bad too. What were those live action Halo shorts from years ago, around the time of Halo CE? I had a quick Google and couldn’t find anything. Pretty sure they had a Warthog in it, but that was a lot better than this (which still can’t shake off wanting to be Aliens – right down to the gruff superior officer, briefing you as you go into somewhere that looks a bit ropey).
