Angry Birds: Transformers just got revealed

Angry Birds: Transformers is a thing, and Rovio's first artwork has been revealed for all to see.

Our friends at Family Gamer TV sent us over a video where they analyse the first Angry Birds: Transformers artwork, and speculate that the cross-over will actually be a new instalment in the Angry Birds GO racing series.

They told us that the game will see both the Autobirds and Deceptihogs facing off in September 2014, according to product names unearthed at the London Toy Fair earlier this year. The products suggest that Angry Birds: Transformers will make use of Telepod technology that enables users to scan toys into their games.

The only thing official out of Rovio so far is this splash page for the cross-over, revealing next to nothing, other than some art and the fact it's coming to app stores "soon."
