Tuesday, 10th June 2014 03:48 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

Naughty Dog finally revealed the Uncharted game it’s working on ay Sony’s E3 2014 stage presentation this evening.

It’s called Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and the trailer is below. Note Sully says “one last time” more than once. Damn it. You know what that implies.

Drake will be rendered in full 1080p and all the footage posted in the trailer was captured completely in engine.

Naughty Dog is targeting 60fps and character models in the game is “over double the polygons of Joel from The Last of Us PS3.”

“The next generation of Nathan Drake is going to be very real and will explore what it means when Drake is forced back into the world of thieves,” said Naughty Dog. “He will embark on a globe-trotting journey in pursuit of a historical conspiracy behind a fabled pirate treasure.

“It’s his greatest adventure yet and will test his physical limits, his resolve, and ultimately what he’s willing to sacrifice to save the ones he loves.”

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is available for pre-order right now and is slated for a 2015 release.

    Sony’s conference:
    ++Grim motherfucking fandango (coming to PC too)
    ++Bloodborne
    -indieshit everywhere
    -audio problems
    -people that don’t know how to play games testing them in front of everyone (little big planet)
    -le social media face
    –dlc right out of the fucking bat / showing prices right in front of everyone / some features require to pay a fee
    Stopped watching it. 4/10 (will update later is something else happens)
    Nintendo has the bar set pretty fucking low, they can get the best conference out of the 3 just by not fucking up. You can expect a reminder in the morning to Nintendo’s conference.

    This e3 was the worst. Sony was terrible showing all indie titles. Who cares about those games on next gen

    Xbox pretty much owned Sony this year… And this coming from someone who hates the Xbox brand.
    T.V. and movies at a GAMES conference….
    The Vita was practically non-existence.

    Then they are doing the same thing as Last of Us where cutscenes are in a completely different pipeline and models than the actual game.

    @9
    TLOU and Uncharted graphical parity between cutscenes and actual gameplay were minuscule.This isn’t ps3 though.If REady at Dawn can accomplish seamless graphics with The order 1886 don’t see how Naughty Dog can’t…and they’re targetting 60fps too

    Yeah we’ll see about that. I highly doubt it.

    @zoopdeloop

    And really if they were so “miniscule” they wouldn’t need to have a completely different pipeline to do it. They do it for a reason.

    @BrokenSpline
    460 mb of RAM was the reason and the difference was well…miniscule :P.Now they’ve got 6+ GB of fast gddr5 which will result in killing pre-rendered cutscenes while providing a seamless experience like Infamous:Second son,The order 1886.
    You are not comfortable with this but it will happen :)

    Seeing as even PS4 has problems with running games in 1080p (Watch Dogs, Battlefield 4 etc), i have high doubts this will run at 1080p/60 with these visuals. At least the levels has to be VERY small, and the draw distance will have to suffer.

    seeing how Naughty Dog topped(technically at least)pretty much every other game on ps3,don’t see how they couldn’t do it this gen.
    You lot also seem to forget that Uncharted is a linear experience.With that in mind and the new hardware this result could easily happen

    @Hcw87

    Are you seriously going to use a third party game on a meager multiplatform engine in comparison to an in-house studio on dedicated engine? Nigga, YOU CRAZY!

    I honestly tear up thinking of the possibility of killing off Nathan Drake and/or the franchise. I know the show must go on, but there is a world still to explore out there.

    Love the dark theme. SCREAMS Uncharted 2.

    How is this year’s Uncharted 4 trailer a ‘reveal’ when it was ‘revealed’ last E3?
