Pre-order Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare for PS4 pre-load now

Wednesday, 4th June 2014 08:43 GMT By Dave Cook

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare developer Sledgehammer Games has opened PS4 and PS3 pre-orders for its November 4 shooter on PSN, with a pre-load option available for Sony’s new console.

The pre-load option is interesting seeing as just last year, UK retailer ShopTo refused to stock Call of Duty: Ghosts because Activision refused to let the store ship copies to pre-order members in time for launch. It seems the publisher has changed its approach to day one access.

You’ll find Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare PS4 on the Sony store for $59.99, and the pre-load option will allow customers to install the shooter in time for playing at 12:00am on November 4.

No really, the product page even says, “Pre-order Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare now! Play the game on 11/4 starting midnight PST.”

It’s happening and according to the page it also runs in native 1080p. Fancy that.

Pre-load is also available on PS3. Check it out.

Err, no, i dont think so, it’ll probably be £20 more expensive than the retail boxed copy if watch dogs is anything to go by.

Pretty damn pricey eh? Nintendo is bad for this too. Mario Kart 8 is £10 more online than in stores.
