Project Diva F 2nd tops Media Create, 3DS LL back in top hardware slot

Hatsune Miku Project Diva F 2nd was the top seller in Japan according to the latest Media Create charts. On the hardware end, Nintendo's 3DS LL was back at the top of the charts, after PlayStation Vita took over the week prior.

Project Diva F 2nd moved 98,628 units on Vita and 59,965 units on PlayStation 3 for a combined 158,595 units sold.

Other debits for the week included Hakuoki SSL: Sweet School Life for Vita, and Winning Post 8 which sold 31,276 units combined on PS3 and Vita.

Atelier Ayesha Plus: The Alchemist of Dusk debuted in the 20 spot with 11,663 sold on Vita.

In all, PS3 had the most titles in the top 20 with seven, and was followed by Vita, 3DS, PlayStation 4, and PSP, respectively.

As with last week, hardware sales were up over the prior week, with PS4 the only system to show a decline. The console moved 23,327 units for the period, compared to 30,201 units the prior week; however, there were no new releases for the console in the top 20.

The only title which landed on the chart for the system was Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes, which was released back in February.

If you look at the Famitsu top 30, the case is the same for PS4, with Ground Zeroes landing in the 15 spot.
