Hearthstone, Diablo 3, other Blizzard games affected by broad-spectrum DDOS attacks

Blizzard has warned European users they may experience issues with Diablo 3, Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, StarCraft 2 and World of Warcraft in the wake of ongoing DDOS attacks against European service providers.

A Battle.net post warns of the chances of disconnections and high latency as a result of malicious activity.

Blizzard itself is not the target of the attacks; "the disruption effects rippled and have been felt by a portion of our players’ population," the publisher said.

"While we are closely monitoring the situation we wanted to thank you for your patience and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause," Blizzard said.

North American and other international players appear to be unaffected.
