Borderlands 2 is playable on PS Vita at GDC 2014, and one site has captured some off-screen footage of the handheld build in action.

The video comes from Spanish site Atomix, which is at the show in San Francisco.

We’ve got details of a Borderlands 2 PS Vita bundle hitting North America in spring. Check it out.

    Looks pretty pretty pretty good.

Some nice background conversation there: “…I’m going to get Xbox One *laughs* It’s just the controller…”

@Legendaryboss After watching this video I’m actually not as skeptical as the ign writer made me. Better to see it then read it I always say

@Legendaryboss Um far cry from saying it’s rough around the edges to crap.

@One-Shot Far Cry? Yes. But based on past history? No.

It happened many times with different games which were HD ports from PS2, it also happened to one game ported from PS3 to PS Vita.

Borderlands 2 is not bucking the trend of crap ports to PS Vita, this you see now is likely what you will get launch day.
