That’s quite a delay. And like @1, I wanna know why?

@Coheno your so right. I saw the news and thought they have come to their senses and decided not to release the same day as Castlevania, but they choose the same day as Infamous instead? They really have an unrealistic view of their brand and game. Maybe it will do well? but imho it’s going to be in the bargain bin after a couple of months.

It’s not just Infamous. It’s Titanfall, FFX/FFX-2 HD, Metal Gear GZ, Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls. Not to mention Dark Souls 2 on th 14th. Plus a ton of indies that have unconfirmed dates in March.

I remain solidly unconvinced about this. And, that view of the game was not tempered by their fairly recent video (NOT that *official* trailer. Which I hadn’t seen before today, but a casual interview/dev chat) which, basically, sought to distance Yaiba from the other games. The representatives of TK were in an arcade, basically suggesting that the viewer consider Yaiba like a “snack” to Ninja Gaiden’s main course!

If the promotional material is on the defensive even before the gate has opened… D: I’m sorry, but the game they demonstrated in that live-to-camera video did not look great. It seems to me to take the awkward nature of (what I’ve seen of) Ninja Gaiden 3′s combat and throw a zombie/demon costume over it.
