PSN: Final Fantasy sale discounts classic titles, Final Fantasy 14 & more

Sony has published details of its Final Fantasy sale, which kicks off in Europe and other territories today. Final Fantasy 14 and 13-2 are on the list, along with classic entries to Square’s JRPG series.

It comes before the release of Square’s latest entry. Hit up my Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13 preview for some hands-on impressions. The game’s out February 14 in Europe.

The sale was posted on PS Blog EU and runs until February 5. It goes as follows:

    @2, well these are mostly PS1 classics, if you were to extrapolate that back to Steam, games that old, this sale price would be like RRP, not sale price.

    I honestly believe psn sales have already hit steam levels. There were about 15-20 sales last year and I got things like AC3 for 30 2 months after release, max Payne 3 for 20 after 3 months of release. Rayman origins, Lego batman 2 for vita 5 bucks. Hitman contracts hd crysis 3, Alice madness returns 5 bucks. Hell I’ve gotten more games then I can remember on sale on psn.

    They have been just fantastic these last 2 years on sales. And completely overlooked at times
