Amazon UK has opened its own PSN store offering a wealth of games, DLC and season passes as an alternative to Sony’s own marketplace.

On the store-front right now you’ll find PSN wallet top-up cards in £5-£20 denominations, and games like Journey (£9.99), Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon (£11.99), Tokyo Jungle (£9.99), Stealth Inc (£7.99), Hotline Miami (£6.49) and The Unfinished Swan (£9.99). You can also buy peripherals like DualShock pads, headsets and more.

You’ll find the Amazon UK PlayStation Network store through the link.

Check it out and let us know what you think below.

Great decision. Hopefully it will increase competition.

Noooooope. Last time I bought a game code, it was country locked.
(it may have changed since then though)

This has potential to be a big move in the digital sector. UK implementation is still marked as Beta and a bit limited in offerings, but US version is more extensive and has already offered sale items cheaper than PSN prices. A good sign.

Kind of. I know people bought codes from the Amazon US store and used them on their UK PS4s. You need to create a US account to redeem the code, but then your main account on the same PS4 can use the software. Once you get software from a different region then you are tied in to DLC from the same region too.

This should be live for Amazon Germany too – with more planned.
