Gran Turismo 6 GPS visualiser compared side-by-side with source

Gran Turismo 6 will allow you to race on real tracks, then bring the data home and compare it to your performance in-game. The video below shows the finished product, using data taken from the Willow Springs International Raceway, compared side-by-side with video footage of the actual track.

Polygon Toyota's CAN-Gateway ECU powers the feature. You'll be able to save your racing data to a USB drive, then transfer it to your PlayStation 3, where you can compare your real and in-game driving skills.

Don't worry if you don't live near a famous track already included in-game; the Gamer Maker app will allow you create custom tracks from GPS data.

GT6 arrives on PS3 on December 6.
