Borderlands 2: The Horrible Hunger of the Ravenous Wattle Gobbler has a very long name. It’s also out as a new piece of Headhunter DLC next week.

IGN reports that the pack is out November 26 on Xbox 360, PS3, PC and Mac, priced $2.99 / £2.39 / €2.99.

The site adds that it’s a Thanksgiving-themed DLC pack, which sees Torgue hosting a contest to see who can take down the Wattle Gobbler. It’s said to be a bit like the Hunger Games.

We’ll have more once the pack launches. What do you think?

    What a great name.

I hope in the spirit of the name they include a Vorpal Blade (gun) that goes ‘snicker snack’ when fired.

I haven’t bought this game yet because there’s just so much DLC for it. Hopefully they come out with a ultimate edition, otherwise I’ll pass.

It’s been a while since we’ve borne witness to the epic meeting of FPS and turkey.

@2 – Your missing out :) Just get the edition that’s out now with the season pass built in, everything else isn’t really needed. Two of the 4 DLC’s are great (Tiny Tina and Pirate DLC), the other 2 are decent.

The game is one of my favorite all time games now, and I didn’t even like the first game much. The game is so fun with friends.

Definitely in the top 10 best games of the gen. No reason to miss out on this. GotY edition has more than enough value for money, and after playing that for ~20-40 hours, you can decide if you want the smaller Headhunter DLC’s.
