Driveclub developer Evolution Studios has published a new Driveclub trailer, this time promoting the values of teamwork and togetherness. It’s quite sweet when you stop to think about it. Watch it here.

The clip shows off plenty of racing and slick cars, focusing mainly on the BMW,but no raw gameplay. Regardless, what do you think?

It follows these small clips showcasing the game’s ‘share’ functionality with PlayStation 4. See how it works through the link.

What’s that black artifact at 0:23? Is it supposed to be a shadow or something…

There is another one at 0:33, maybe it’s just the asphalt/bitumen.

Good spot, looks to be a very rough shadow.

A lot of the footage is culled from early (E3 + annoucement) vids, so I wouldn’t be too concerned.

I think it is probably a road repair by the look of things. Tracks are kind of inspired by real locations rather than fully recreating them, but they do have a decent attention to detail in reproducing stuff from those locations. There is a track in India which has reflective wrappings around trees for example – something they do as makeshift road sign.

    30 FPS and late.

Excuse me while I fail to get excited.

Hope this turns out to be a good game for those interested, but personally I hope Evo has plans for a new Motorstorm installment. One worthy of a successor to Monument Valley and Pacific Rift.
