    I’m guessing the first part is the cars with high resolution/in car view (premium), and the rest is standard cars like GT5 that look worse with no in-car view.

  8. MrBambinoDent

    Bad timing though for release. Most people are busy with the next gen!

    #8 2 years ago
  9. Hcw87

    Indeed, should have been a PS4 release, since they have nothing to compete with Forza 5.

    #9 2 years ago
  10. Dragon

    ^Same as saying MS has nothing to compete with KillZone Shadow Fall.

    GT6 on PS3 makes perfect sense and is in line with Sony’s past biz method of supporting old consoles as long as possible, not ditching them when “oh new shiny hardware” appears, like their trigger happy competitors seems very happy to do.
    And it has served them well too.

    Come on PD – why not include some of the new RUFs as premium models? Argh

  12. Opalauge

    @4:

    I think Turn 10 has a deal with McLaren for the P1. It’s the “crowd puller” for Forza 5. Turn 10 also holds the rights for Ferrari…the are just allowing Polyphony to implement this brand.

    #12 2 years ago
  13. Hcw87

    @10
    So defensive.

    I would have thought having killer apps for your new console would make more people interested in buying it (that would make business sense). Now that DriveClub is delayed, atleast they could offer a PS4 Demo version of GT6 or something.

    #13 2 years ago
  14. truth

    @12 the only game that holds exclusive rights to a manufacture is NFs. No other manufacture is crazy enough to sign exclusive rights. I think turn 10 is using there team work with Top Gear UK to pull in with a strong partnership on mclaren front. As soon as they talk dlc the 2 big hyper cars will be there. I hope

    Couple of good things.
    The Abarth 500 is finally here and so is the Ferrari FXX.

    But there are a ton of bad things, personally.
    No RS5, no Berlinetta, no Sesto Elemento, no DS3, no Gumpert Apollo and still no Continental GT.

    Someone over at gtplanet have probably counted how many premium cars are actually in the game.

    There is no Koenigsegg or Saleen? It does not matter. Finally i can fill my garage with hundreds of Skylines or Celicas. Again.

  18. Opalauge

    @14:

    This is definetly not a complete exclusive deal, but I think it’s at least a timed exclusive because the P1 is somewhat the mascot of Forza 5.
    EA sold the License for Ferrari to Turn 10 and Turn 10 has allowed Polyphony to use it for free because (in contrast to the fans) these two companys have huge respect for each other.
