Misadventures of Link, Pikmin and other cartoons coming to your 3DS

Shows such as The Misadventures of Link, Pikmin Nature Documentaries and more are coming to The Nintendo Video channel, otherwise known as the video app on your 3DS. You can get your Zelda fix tomorrow when the first episode releases, while the other content will roll out over the next few months. Check out the rest of the shows below the jump.

In total the lineup includes Pendleton Ward's Bravest Warriors, Wildheart Riukiu and Bee and PuppyCat. Get this, the last one is about a creature that's half-dog, half-cat. What a great idea for a cartoon.

The Misadventures of Link, which definitely seems to be the flagship show of this lineup, recasts Wind Waker era Link "in a new and hysterical light" and will consist of short sketches. The same is true of Pikmin Nature Documentaries, which are short mockumentaries centered around the bizarre ecology of everyone's favourite sentient plants.

Bravest Warriors, by Adventure Time's creator Pendleton Ward is about four teenagers who go around space saving people with their emotional maturity. The Youtube show will now also show up on your 3DS every Friday if you care for it. Wildheart Riukiu is a series of shorts with "charming 16-bit graphics" and "not-so-charming, but hilarious characters". It comes from the creator of Meat or Die, which is apparently one of Nintendo video's most popular serieses.

Lastly there's Bee and PuppyCat, a two-parter about a woman struggling in the throes of unemployment who meets CatDog.

Thanks, Joystiq.
