UK games chart: GTA 5 stays top, Skylanders enters at third

Grand Theft Auto 5 is still top of the UK games chart, its second successive week at number one. FIFA 14 maintains second spot, meaning that Activision’s Skylanders Swap Force is the highest new entry at number three. Pokemon’s X & Y round out the top 5. Meanwhile, Sonic: Lost World just misses out on the top ten. Get the full run down after the break.

    Gamesindustry said Skylanders sales were 35% below last years.

    This is the start of a rocky patch for Activision I think.

    I forgot a new Skylanders game was launching, but focusing on the games nothing new to see but Sonic Lost World and the aforementioned game, and two PS Vita games coming in the top 20 again? I suppose that Argos UK ad did something minor.

    @3 why do people care about charts? If a game entered at 40 would it stop someone from buying a game?
