Rocksmith 2014 contains a mode for those with colorblindness, Ubisoft has announced. According to producer Taylor Benson, who is also colorblind, adjusted hues will allow those with the malady to learn just as easily to strum the six-string as those who can see color. Check out the link for more information and watch the video below. Rocksmith 2014 Edition will hit shelves on October 18 in in North America and October 25 in the UK on Mac, PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

Its great to see so many games making adjustments to cater to colorblind people!

@1 Well I dunno how else to put it :D

Off topic: having an uncle and two cousins with colorblindness has really come in handy over the years whenever I screw a dye job up. They think it looks great.

Its okay, don’t know what the “correct” way would be either. You can’t say “see color correctly” either since we don’t really know what the correct way of perceiving color is. The human brain is weird :P

@3 True! What I see as blue others may see it as more of a purple. etc.

So excited. Cannot wait to get my hands on this game. Does anyone know if there is a list of brands that are supported or what instruments other than the standard (4 and) 6 stringed (bass)guitars will work with this game… Can’t seem to find it by just googling…
