Xbox One Japanese launch confirmed for 2014

Wednesday, 18th September 2013 02:15 GMT By Brenna Hillier

It’s a bit of a no-brainer, but Microsoft has confirmed with Famitsu that the Xbox One will launch in Japan in 2014. The platform holder passed over Japan as a launch territory for its new console, which arrives in Europe, North America and other western territories in November this year. Microsoft has traditionally struggled to gain a foothold in Japan, but remains committed to trying; rival Sony has also chosen to delay the PS4′s Japanese launch into 2014.

Thanks, Siliconera.

They should leave sony because of the disrespect they are showing to the Japanese .. they are its home land but to put them last. Now thats a disrespect that can’t go unpunished. . Buy a xbox1 japan.. support Microsoft and they will show you loyalty. .

They will do no such thing. They are a heartless corporate structure after our money. They are not an altruistic entity that rewards faith with loyalty…
