Star Wars: Episode 7 game revealed in LucasArts book

Monday, 29th July 2013 15:05 GMT By Dave Cook

Star Wars: Episode 7 – Shadows of the Sith was in development at LucasArts before it closed, according to a book on the history of LucasArts. The title was just one of 19 cancelled Star Wars games that were canned by the studio over the years.

Now, this may have absolutely bugger all to do with the J.J. Abrams film, but the book – Rogue Leaders: The Story of LucasArts – does give a neat insight into some of the Star Wars games that could have been.

This image of the book was posted on Reddit and it shows logos for all 20 of the cancelled projects, and if interested you can buy the book over on Amazon now.

What do you make of the cancelled games?

Thanks AGB.

So.. judging from the logos: Two more Jedi Knight games were cancelled.

Edit: Oh, the book is from 2008.

“Cancelled” seems like an awful strong word – a lot of those logos are very similar, presumably different versions for the same game.

@2 They were cancelled mostly, but I get what you mean.

That fact that a current/next-gen version of ‘X-Wing Vs. Tie-Fighter’ wasn’t even on the cards makes me want to insert a pineapple into Humanity – and not in the comfortable end, lemme tell ya.
