Arma 3 beta video shows new scenarios, challenges, more

Thursday, 18th July 2013 14:38 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

Arma 3 is in beta, and today Bohemia Interactive has released another video showing off footage from the tester.

The video shows off the new single-player showcases, some multiplayer scenarios, drill challenges, faction, vehicles and weapons available in the beta.

It also teases vehicles and military hardware that will be added in the near future.

To participate in the game’s development, you can purchase the Arma 3 Beta or the Arma 3 Digital Deluxe Edition on Steam or Bohemia Store.

Both editions include a Steam version of the full retail game upon release. Prices will increase once the complete game becomes available.

I’ll just leave THIS here so that you can see the real state of the game right now.

@1 A game that looks that still on Alpha worth $40 dolla? Yes, of course I’d buy.

@1 Fuck me, bugs in Alpha / Beta product? Who would have known? Alert the media!

That said even that video is very cherry picked to highlight already fixed issues or current bugs that in the end are rather rare sight during normal play. Even with its bugs and issues ArmA 3 is already in very good shape and getting better by each patch.

They just patched those APC’s into ArmA 3 Beta’s dev branch and in 2-3 weeks they come to “live version”.

It’s better than the finished Arma 2 already.

@1 those are issue that were in alpha and that are fixed now plus that was a third party nodded mission so BIS are hardly at fault for some of those glitches. For me the game is excellent and I can’t wait until Altis the 270km square (i think) island is released, good times abound.

Fingers crossed they port it to PS4. Would be a treat considering the landscape of military shooters.
