You’ll save a few bucks on sci-fi sandbox Edge of Space by picking it up during its testing phase on Steam Early Access.
The Handyman Studios survival effort is $12 at the moment, but will cost $15 when it launches on PC later this year.
As well as saving you precious cash money, the Early Access release offers a First Responder Armor set which grants various bonuses right off the bat.
Edge of Space casts the player as an ArkCo operative who has crashed on a planet at – you guessed it – the edge of space. Gathering resources, they must fight for survival against such foes as cybernetically-enhanced laser space sharks and vicious genetically-evolved polar bears. Check out a few screens below.
Steam Early Access gives indie alphas and betas such an air of legitimacy, don’t you think? Steam’s fanbase passed the game through Greenlight so they seem quite keen already.
