Ghost Recon movie to be directed by Michael Bay

Back in February, the LA Times reported Ubisoft Motion Pictures boss Jean-Julien Baronnet was working on a Ghost Recon pitch. Looks like the pitch took, and none other than Michael Bay is involved.

Bay will direct and it will be distributed by Warner Brothers.

"Having one of Hollywood’s boldest feature film directors attached to bringing Ghost Recon to the big screen is a dream come true for us," said Baronnet.

"And with Warner Bros. unmatched track record of successfully producing, marketing and distributing big movies from the industry’s top talents. We think this project has huge potential."

Which Ghost Recon game it will be based on is not known at present.
