Who else is utterly not impressed? I was completely underwhelmed and it just seems they don’t even want to try anymore.

@1 I’ve fallen out of love with Call of Duty. Properly looking forward to seeing what Battlfield brings to the E3 table.

Oh dear a nina, cyborg, killer, canine.. Straight out of Grant Morrisons We3…

Just to think that people buy this shit every year , is funny and sad at the same time.

  8. Lengendaryboss

I just find it sad, but you know dogs, campers and fish is all too hard to resist :)

@6 – I’m not planning to see it at E3, I’ll be taking a look at Destiny mind.

Let’s just start renaming shall we?

    Call of Dog
    Dog of Duty
    Call of Duty: Dogs
    Ghost Dog
    Woof woof woof: Woof.

Honestly tho, if it was genuinely called Call of Duty: Dogs, I’d be well up for that!

I’ve added a video of their mega wide widescreen E3 booth thingy.

It’s enough to hurt the eyes.

  11. DSB

@9 Do you know if the Activision booth actually looks like the image from the video?

They have this huge platform with a curved panorama showing scenery from Ghosts

    It looks ridiculously expensive.

    Well, that answers that.

We could also start naming special/collectors editions:
Call of Duty: Woof Woof Edition
    Call of Duty: Hound Edition
Call of Duty: Dog Deluxe Package
    Call of Duty: Collar Edition
    Oh the endless possibilities :D

    Riley: woof! woof!

Soldier: whats that Riley?”The healthy human mind doesn’t wake up in the morning thinking this is its last day on Earth. But I think that’s a luxury, not a curse. To know you’re close to the end is a kind of freedom. Good time to take…inventory. [...] Out-gunned. Outnumbered. Out of our minds. On a suicide mission. But the sand and the rocks here, stained with thousands of years of warfare… They will remember us. For this. Because out of all our vast array of nightmares, this is the one we choose for ourselves. We go forward like a breath exhaled from the Earth. With vigor in our hearts and one goal in sight: We. Will. Kill him.”

    Riley: woof! woof!

Like seriously, that soldier can communicate with the dog like it’s a human being? Talking about taking it to the next level for the A.I. Total immersion in reality.

They could have named it Call of Duty: War Dogs too!

    @17 Nice find.

  19. MadFingerz

I like seeing Activision going on about a new universe(lol), characters and story like it’s the one thing fans have been asking for.

    Looks shit.

Probably play it for 500 hours.

@19 When you have nothing truly new to show, nothing genuinely original to share, nothing even remotely inventive or inspired about your game to tout… you clutch at straws and latch onto whatever little thing you can, and make it out to be ten times a bigger deal than it actually is.

I’ve recently decided to christen to approach to PR “The Microsoft Method”.

@17 Shame it’s not full trailer, cuts short. Still nice peak to what is theirs E3 trailer.

On CoD, so… what is “next-gen” about this theirs “new” engine? Godrays that were finally added?

    #22 2 years ago
  23. MadFingerz

@21 Yup. And I agree with the MS and EA thing, they sure are arrogant snobbish pricks “oh look at this fancy titled stuff that will totally revolutionize everything!” ugh…

With MS, EA and COD all in one sitting at the xbone reveal, they could have had properly named it “ego-fest”.

btw, you know this is COD when even on an underwater mission, they still manage to crash helis at you.

I so can’t wait for this game to release only to watch all the mock up vids and reviews it will generate.

Haven’t bought a COD game since Black Ops. Glad to see I’m not missing much. :P

I stole this joke off Eurogamer but it made me lol:

“Their doing a new DLC package for this, it’s called a ‘Cesar Pass’

I’ve never played a call of duty game, actually, the only FPS I’ve ever played was killzone 3, about half of the game.

I get why people are tired of the series, but I liked the videos. Probably won’t play it though.

do they forget the people who usually buy these every year only care about the MP and zombies, they only usually play Single player when the net is down but then again if the nets down for more than 24hrs you wont be playing at all.
I dont get what is suppose to be good, you move a bit, some building falls, run, shoot, something else falls, explodes and thats the game, but look how awesome it looks.I dont care, i want to shoot things, not wait til something else explodes or falls.
and the whole dog thing is just absolute rubbish

the only reason i came here is the dog ..

    #39 2 years ago

The ‘quality’ of these videos is abysmal.

If you want to see what it really looks like, watch it here:

Although, this still isn’t the 1080p/60 that we’re expecting (max is 720p), it still looks better than the bizarrely bad stuff above.
