Atlus teases “scary” announce tonight

Friday, 7th June 2013 01:31 GMT By Brenna Hillier

Atlus USA has asked fans to tune into Spike’s GTTV tonight, where it will share “big news”.

“If you like scary things, stay up late for tonight’s GTTV episode at 1 AM on Spike TV,” the publisher said on Twitter.

“Atlus has big news for a title coming early next year.”

It’s not clear if the news relates to an announced title or a reveal, but as we’re not certain of the publisher’s release schedule at the best of times, it’s probably going to be surprising anyway.

Atlus has a lot of irons in the fire; as well as bringing over its Japanese namesake’s games, it localises many third-party titles and even acts as a publisher to western indie developers.

Thanks, Gematsu.

I think at present, the only thing I’d definitively like to see of Atlus’ properties is a Catherine 2.

This makes me remember back when Atlus was talking about making Catherine into a brand new franchise, only to say they weren’t going to go any further with it about half a year later (if memory serves right). Shame, it was a great game.

The announcement was that Daylight, a horror game formerly only announced for PC, is coming to PS4.

Survival jrpg, hm…? Sounds really interesting but I can’t imagine how it will play out.
