    So far, amongst next-gen games, it’s the only one I’m interested in.
    Not that it’s particularly beautiful, but I really loved the first 2 games.

    All other games shown, both on PS4 and/or Xbox One don’t appeal to me other than visually. I don’t want to take a controller and play those games. This is different for Second Son

    Actually there was gameplay in the original reveal.

    @10: No, there wasn’t.

    Yes, there was. The bit where he takes out the soldiers was in-game, or at least gameplay, most of it (or all) was ‘in-game’.

    @Gek
    It was all thought to be in-engine, not actual gameplay though.

    Nah, it was gameplay, i’m actually surprised you couldnt pick that up when you saw the animations at the part where he fights the soldiers. It was obviously in-game gameplay.

    @12: As #13 pointed out, that’s in-game footage, not gameplay footage. Gameplay footage is someone playing the game and we see that footage.

    ^ See above, the fight part was gameplay, it just used cinematic camera angles.

    *sigh* … that’s not gameplay.

    Oh well look at that.

    Yeah, look at that. One of us knows the difference between ingame footage and gameplay footage and the other one is you.

    Someone doesn’t know what is gameplay… Fight part with cinematic camera angles… Okay. LOL

    Oh dear, the devs actually said it was gameplay but you’re still denying it. Well, keep on thinking you’re right, despite the fact you’ve just been proven wrong. You’ll go far in life like that.

    “The tweet came in response to a comment from Markus St., who wrote “Indeed the new Infamous looks promising can’t wait for gameplay footage.”

    What did you think most of that was,” Sucker Punch replied. “We just used [a] different camera to make it more cinematic.”"

  22. YoungZer0

    But that’s not how you define gameplay footage. Again. Gameplay footage is footage of the game being played by a player. No different camera angles, no pre-rendered stuff. Just the game being played. Erth’s example got it right.

    lol Shift the goalposts, i said there was gameplay footage in the reveal trailer, there is. I never said it was a gameplay demo.

    #23 1 year ago
  24. YoungZer0

    Neither did anybody else. Still not actual gameplay footage.

    The developer is simply full of shit. That’s not gameplay footage.

    If that’s gameplay footage then you could argue that the Mad World Trailer for Gears of War was also gameplay footage.

  25. Gekidami

    Of course you couldnt, this:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ccWrbGEFgI8

    Features no gameplay, at no point is anyone holding a pad and playing it, its not even in-game. The infamous trailer is a guy playing that fight only with edited camera angles. Its baffling that you compare those two, almost as baffling as your inability to understand this.

    By your definition that IF2 gameplay isnt actually gameplay because the HUD is removed and they added a camera angle for the helicopter crash that isnt in the final game.

    @25: It’s not gameplay footage.

    @26: I’m impressed that you still manage to write while masturbating to your superiority complex.
