NVIDIA has announced its GeForce GTX 770 is now available and will run you around the $399 mark depending on the retailer. The GeForce GTX 770 features “the same desirable styling as the recently-released GeForce GTX 780, and compared to its predecessor is 15% faster thanks to higher clock speeds, 192 more CUDA Cores, and faster 7Gbps memory,” says the firm. The GTX 770 also supports GPU Boost 2.0, Overvolting, Display Overclocking, and ShadowPlay. Blue has a list of reviews if you wish to have a look.

I need a new card. Granted, my ATI 5700 HD series works just perfectly, but I really want an upgrade. Oh well, someday. :)

I’ll start paying attention to graphics cards when they stop sharing a design aesthetic with the kind of tacky after market mods British boy racers retrofit their 1.2 litre Corsa Twinports with.

@4, With most cases you don’t even see the damn thing. The only design aspect that matters is its physical size.

@Steph, may pay you to wait. Unless you can afford at least $300 minimum on a GPU today, I can guarante that your games will look worst than the PS4/Xbone equivalents. The consumer version of the GPU that the PS4 will use is rumoured to be the 7870 & that still retails at above $200 & with every game made for the PS4 designed with this single card in mind, may actually deliver results of a $300 card & will actually deliver even better results than that $300 GPU down the track if last gen is any indication.
