Scrolls open beta kicks off on June 3, to cost $20

Scrolls, the collectible strategy trading card game from the creators of Minecraft, will be releasing in open beta on June 3, the developer announced today.

The game will be releasing on PC and Mac. It will cost you $20 during the beta. The developer has also released the launch trailer for the game which gives you a glimpse of what the game is all about. You can watch it after the break.

    Wait, I’m a little clueless. $20 and beta? Is this supposed to be f2p on launch day? I’m confused as to why it has an open beta. Also in the trailer I saw there’s a “store” is there going to be cash shop also? SO you pay $20, and there’s a cash shop? Count me out if that’s the case.
