Gran Turismo 6 footage captured in sneaky shakycam vid

Monday, 27th May 2013 03:30 GMT By Brenna Hillier

Oh ho, what’s this? Only a look at hat its very likely to be the most beautiful racer this console generation produces before it gives way to the next one, that’s all.

Sony has been very stingy about letting us have a look at Gran Turismo 6 outside of closed events, but GTPlanet took a couple of minutes of off-screen footage showing a Nissan 370Z on the Autumn Ring. You can see it below; it’s not much, but it’s arguably more representative than this “concept footage”.

Sam was at the Gran Turismo 6 reveal event earlier this month and captured the whole presentation, if you’re keen to learn more. The racer is headed to PlayStation 3 this year – it represents a “commitment” to the console’s user base, apparently – but may also arrive on PS4.

Thanks, CyberMarco.

Yup that’s Gran Turismo alright. I’d get it if I still had a PS3.

I have to agree, dont see any changes here.

Graphic looks the same, cars look the same etc

Looks like the same game again with some new cars/race tracks.

Was also hoping for some more fun things in the next Gran Turismo.

Like a free drive mode through “living” cities.

    “Graphic looks the same”

You are a tool if you think that graphics will have a major change on the old system in the end of the console generation.

It’s a driving simulator, not arcade game like Burnout. JeeZus.

The game hasn’t changed since GT1. GT isn’t for you, move along.

Audio of hitting another car still sounds god awful. It’s supposed to be metal hitting metal – woeful. I’m assuming it’ll be a rock solid 60fps compared to the all over the place frame rate of the last one too.

Gran Turismo 5 has always been a good driving sim but a painfully boring racing game, I expect GT6 will be no different in this regard.

You know what they could have changed though? THE PATHETIC CAR SOUNDS! it seriously sounds like shit compared to even Forza 2.

Maybe its my getting older but I’m beginning to think that folks that whine and complain about things they don’t even like, must just be garbage at said thing. Just because your GT skills are not adequate doesn’t make it ok to shit on the game..try sucking less.

#6 all you do here is talking crap and insulting people all the time.

It has been 3 years since Gran Turismo 5 and so I expect Gran Turismo 6 to have better graphics/cars (have all cars as premium models etc).

A fun mode like free city driving is great in racing games, especially in a racing simulation.

Seems like nothing has changed from the news I read so far.

@15 “I expect Gran Turismo 6 to have better graphics/cars (have all cars as premium models etc).”

If you follow Polphony Digital they said it takes a month to get a car from physical to “final in game”. Considering they’re will be 200 new premiums I consider it impressive.

“A fun mode like free city driving is great in racing games, especially in a racing simulation.”

While “free roaming” hasn’t been confirmed, Kaz has expressed his interest in such things. If you noticed, a new “city” environment has been added to the track creator that can be used to lay out tracks within it. Im willing to bet you’ll be able to “free roam” in this area.

The game doesn’t come out till this “winter” fellas, stay calm.

lol Erthazus, I will never understand you. You cry when characters lack skin pores, and you insult people when they spill the same words that comes out of your mouth.

*edit: not exactly the same words of course. Just when those words are about your favorite games, I guess. Or something like that.
