Splinter Cell Blacklist co-op trailer shows Sam and buddy Isaac at work

Splinter Cell Blacklist developer Ubisoft Toronto has released a new trailer for its stealthy action game, this time showing off co-op mode.

The clip was sent to VG247 this afternoon along with some details about Blacklist's co-op mode, which will see two players teaming up across four mission types and 14 maps. The mode is also available in split-screen so you and a mate can play on the couch like old times.

You can play as either Sam Fisher or CIA operative Isaac Briggs, but together you can reach areas otherwise inaccessible, cover each other's backs in a fight, or coordinate to take down goons using stealth.

The game's out August 20 on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 across North America, and we'll have more on Splinter Cell Blacklist soon.
