Plants Vs Zombies: Adventures has launched on Facebook. PopCap’s new cultivation-em-up is playable right now.

Sorry if this kills your concentration folks, but you can play Plants Vs Zombies Adventures by following this link.

The launch follows a two month closed beta phase, but the game is now available worldwide.

Curt Bererton, executive producer at PopCap said of the launch, “We’re thrilled to bring new ‘Adventures’ to Plants vs. Zombies fans around the world, challenging them to use new strategies to defeat zombies as they come from all directions in a range of cool new settings.

“We know gamers have been clamoring for new ways to play and compare their PvZ prowess with friends — and now they can do that for the first time”.

The game features ten new zombie types that now shuffle towards you from all directions, new power-ups, eleven new plants and 12 road trip maps brimming with new levels.

Well, the link is above, but don’t go getting yourself in trouble at work. Let us know what you think below.

Not great. I can see what they’ve done, and it doesn’t do much for me. It’s exactly what you expect – PvZ that encourages MTX through progressively more difficult levels.

If PvZ2 is F2P and built on MTX like this, then I will be gutted.

I hope to god the MTX bubble bursts soon, or that devs give an option to buy games outright for a reasonable price.
