Metallic Red 3DS console heading to Japan, no word on Western release

Nintendo has unveiled a new Metallic Red 3DS console for Japan. It's very lovely, but once again there's no mention of a western release.
ONM posted the above shot, and confirmed that it would be a regular console - it's not a 3DS XL model - and that it would launch in Japan from June 13 with a bundled 4GB SD card.
