Sony Japan has a strange countdown site with a streaming look at a room with a bunch of monitors on it. In the URL, the user name is panopticon, which is a type of circular prison in which a watchman can observe all of the inmates housed. The design makes it so the inmates don’t know whether they are being watched or not. Whether that has anything to do with the countdown is beyond me.Any ideas?
