Google hires LucasArts veteran as chief game designer

Google has enlisted ex-Lucasarts and Dreamworks veteran Noah Falstein as chief game designer, sparking a rumour that the search company is gearing up to create a dedicated project for its Android gaming platform.

Techcrunch speculates that Falstein is heading up the rumoured project, but there is little in the way of information on what he's actually doing.

That said, Eurogamer has name-dropped a list of Falstein's previous achievements, such as being one of the ten original staffers at LucasArts when it was formed, and spells at both Dreamworks and 3DO Company, as well as having a hand in many LucasArts games.

What do you think Falstein is up to? Let us know below.
