Divinty: Original Sin Kickstarter to end with 4-hour gameplay livestream

Divinity: Original Sin developer Larian Studios almost doubled its $400,000 Kickstarter funding goal, and with four days left on the campaign clock the team has announced it will host a four-hour gameplay livestream today to celebrate.

At the time of writing the game’s Kickstarter drive has amassed $881,689 of its $400,000 goal.

The team will stream the game live over on its Twitch channel today. It starts at 1pm GMT / 2pm CET.

    I urge anyone who has friends to check this out. I’ve become more and more attached to it with each reveal — I was iffy at first, but it really does have the humour of Dragon Knight Saga, which is immensely amusing to me.

    I followed its development from the beginning with nothing but sheer excitement and with each reveal I even got more excited. Well after all, Divine Divinity is my favorite RPG of all times so that motivated me a lot.

    Man I’m fucking happy, with so many great RPGs in development I don’t really care much for next-gen consoles at all. I just want them RPGs man. Wasteland 2, Divinity: Original Sin, Shadowrun Returns, Torment, Project Eternity, Grim Dawn…
