SimCity users reporting overflowing sewers, and other bugs since 2.0 patch

Maxis released SimCity update 2.0 yesterday, and various users are reporting bugs which run the gambit of: sewage overflow, trees honking like a car horn, hundreds of taxis flooding the streets, loading screen freezes and buildings which cannot have construction completed. The list of issues is rather large, and can be found the SimCity Subreddit and the EA Forums. Thanks, PCgamesN.

Don’t these muppets test anything? I think EA have really slipped on quality in the pursuit of money money money. SWTOR has some MAJOR bugs when 2.0 arrived, mostly to do with pvp, despite people posting on the test forums, everything was ignored and the update pushed out.

Is it any wonder people pirate games first when companies treat those paying like shit?

Thats why I set my focus on companies like 505 Games or NISA.

Honking trees and an invasion of taxis, I kind of want to play this now. There’s always something fun about a game that tries to take itself seriously and ends up with crazy bugs.

I’d probably find that hilarious, though admittedly I’m not really the trophies/leaderboard type.

If tree’s ever honked in the game I am responsible for testing, being fired would be the least of my worries!
